Staff at Sawley Before and After School Club

Dave Rattray - Direct Sawley Before and After School Club

 Dave Rattray is the Director and instigator of the Sawley Before and After School Club and works behind the scenes to help the business progress and sort out many of the administrative affairs. He also helps out from time to time where necessary to assist with the staff when possible.

 Married to Laura, Dave has the parental input into the club to ensure that the quality of the care provided by the staff is of a high standard and that the activities planned meet the needs of the children catered for by the club.

As an energetic person and keen cyclist, Dave adds an element of bizzare to the club, you never know what he's going to do next and also a sense of authority should assistance with a decision or guidance be required to be made.

 


Lisa of Sawley Before and After School Club

 

Lisa Francis is level headed, kind, considerate and c aring. She has many years of experience in child care and is NVQ Level 3 qualified with additional qualifications in first aid, basic hygiene, equal opportunities, health and safety.

Lisa has an endearing personality which the children love and respect. Lisa has a great sense of fairness and high levels of energy and enthusiasm. The extra effort and input by Lisa into the Before and After School club is reflected in the ability of the club to satisfy the Ofsted and Environmental standards.

In addition to child care, Lisa is part of a Netball team and has many extra curricular activities. She has also traveled to many different countries and brings a great sense of well being to the atmosphere within the club.


Surinda of Sawley Before and After School Club

 Surinder Bhogal is a bundle of fun. With her many years of experience in child care, she has a NVQ Level 3 qualification and has many additional qualifications including first aid, basic hygiene, equal opportunities, health and safety.

Surinder has tremendous warmth and energy and she connects well with all that meet her, children and parents alike. The dedication and effort that she has put into the Sawley Before and After School club is huge in every way.

In addition to childcare, Surinder has traveled the world and participates in many sports, social and cultural activities. She brings in a lively bubbly personality to the club which the children love and adore.


       

Miranda Bagnall is a volunteer at the club. She helps out when she has spare time from looking after her own family. She is fun and friendly and is a valued member of the team. 

When the club first started Miranda helped with with the set up process. She has been there from the beginning to provide support and encouragement to all those involved

Bernadette Cobb Has now been with the club for a few years and is a great member of staff. She is very creative and adds glamour and sparkle to the After SchoolClub ! Bernie is NVQ level 3 qualified and has had many years of experience caring for children as well as raising her own three boys. Bernadette has a great relationshipwith all the parents and is always on hand to give her advice or experience if its needed. She is a friendly individual who always has a smile on her face.  

 

 


 

Audrey Francis is our fantasic cook who prepares all the meals at the After School Club. She takes into consideration the children's likes and dislikes and is great at developing the their independence. If appropriate she allows them to help with tasks when preparing tea and encourages them to set the tables with cups, knives and forks on their own. 

 


  

 

 Zoe Gee is our newest member of staff at the club. As with the other staff members she has had years of experience working with children, and now has a baby of her own to look after ! Zoe is settling in well and has helped to settle in many of the new children who have started at the club. She is a very calm person and will often work with the children on their individual tasks. Alongside the other members of staff she plans activities and enjoys thinking of ideas that she knows the children will love.
